SOCIAL EVENTS

During the conference, two social events will be available for partecipants and accompanying persons:
an artistic tour in the center of Rome on Wednesday afternoon and the social dinner on Thursday evening. More details on both the events can be found below.

REGISTRATION

To ensure the success of both the events, we need to know in advance how many people will join them. For this reason the interested persons are kindly asked to fill this form. 
To help the organisation of the events, we warmly ask to fill the form before Monday 13th of March.

People interested in only one of the two events can leave the other blank.
​Remember to include also the number of accompanying persons, if any.

SOCIAL DINNER

​The social dinner will be on thursday evening, 30th of March, in one of the most beautiful and popular restaurants in Frascati: Ristorante Cacciani (www.cacciani.it).
​
Here you find the dinner menu. A vegetarian menu is also available upon request. The cost per person will be 40 euro, to be paid in cash upon registration.

​DISCOVERING ROME
A walk through Rome's masterpieces and the signs of the astronomical culture

​The historic centre of Rome is a truly unique zone. Unique both for having endured a rich and varied history that remains almost entirely intact up to the present day, and for its ability to offer spectacular works of art that can be appreciated just walking around the center alleys. 

In order to let you have a little taste of the Rome’s masterpieces, a half-day excursion to the city center will be provided on Wednesday afternoon, 29th of March. 
The cost per person will be 20 euro, to be paid in cash upon registration.

Note that the tour consists in a 3 hours walk that will cover a distance of 5 km.
